Awful movie. Tiresome and boring with a depressing musical score which is punctuated by long periods of silence as Diana walked around the house seemingly intimidated and lost in its size and grandeur. I think it needs saying that Diana would not have felt intimidated by a large property like this or it’s perceived formalities as she was brought up herself in considerable nobility and wealth. It falsely portrays the Royal family as people who sit in complete silence at dinner and do not engage with each other at breakfast, afternoon tea etc. A representation which is cruel and just a load of old rubbish. In any case Diana should have done what many of us do send the kids there for two days with Dad and then get them home to her take on Christmas which I suspect was movies and takeaways.
