Avijit Ghosh

This book is an excellent investigation into the deep rooted, cultural downside of the gross gender imbalance in India and it clearly brings out several historical causes for this state of affairs. All men and women with egalitarian values would do well to read this book. My humble suggestion is that, if possible, it should also have a Hindi version.
