Ms. Ng has written a book that provides ample opportunity for constructive thought and reflection. The central theme is more relevant than ever, especially when considerating some of the parallels between 1930's nazi Germany and contemporary neo-fascist ideology alive at the local and state level in the US.

A most interesting read about a woman whose instinct for survival and unstoppable spirit guides her through life's changing times. Should be read in conjunction with "100 Years of Solitude" by Marquez.
