THIS IS ART. I understand all the people being sceptical about it. But you have to give it a chance! You have to realise the musical parts are necessary to recreate the dream and the vision of joker. His anxiety and how lonely and left alone he is. HE, Arthur! He isn’t Joker. He isn’t just a construct made by trauma and society. He isn’t switching. He is a sick man. And this movie isn’t what you all wanted, but THATS THE POINT. We shouldn’t support the entertainment of the dysfunctional, abused man.
