Well after reading all the bad reviews I thought it would have been bad.. But I was supprised, ok the acting wasn't great at times and Leons charactor was portrayed to be a real sook which I didn't like. But all that aside I feel like it's was a great nostalgic nod to the two orginal games, I like the back story of Chris and Clair.. I liked the zombies as I feel like they were freshly turned not rotted away etc and it was a good fit, plenty of 90s tvs, PC's, music etc to make it period correct. The mansion looked great and the "white coat" zombie scene in my opinion was very accurate apart from the exact location of the mansion. The lickers looked kool and the tyrant (first transformation) was on point. All in all I give it a 4 out of 5 or 8 out of 10, only really losing points for acting etc, for its budget and what it was trying to do I feel it was targeted at us mid 30s/40s fans of the orginal games and it is what the first one years ago should have been with the better budget and actors the original films had, cheers mick
