Going into this I believed this was just going to be another boring period piece. But I was mistaken. This film did an amazing job of making a long trial a suspenseful drama. The dialogue between characters was just amazing and made it feel as if you were experiencing it first hand. This can also be contributed to the amazing performances by the actors, who embodied their characters perfectly. The cinematography was superb, with the shots being up close and personal to emulate the feeling of being present in that courtroom. It remained factual, at least to my research, of course with some details changed or added in name of dramatization. Many of the bad reviews that I’ve seen haven’t had good criticisms of the movie but were mad at its favoritism towards what they deem the radical left. Overall, an amazing movie and is worth a watch.
