I don’t know that it’s the best film in the franchise - still doesn’t beat Aliens and not quite the cinematic ambition of Prometheus (which was itself far from perfect) - but it is a solid film, a few decent scary bits, and does a fairly good job of tying together previous films into the narrative here. It will be interesting to see what they do with this storyline next.
