I was hyped to see WW1984 due to the fact that I enjoyed the first part. It had a decent story, compeling characters and Gal Gadot was absolutely gorgeous ! But WonderWoman 1984 seems to have forgotten its roots. Instead of a super hero action movie we are trusted in a romantic sitcom or the producers joyful memories of the 80's (malls, fanny packs, fashion...) with a touch of DC. There seems to be less of an emphasis on action, and a lot more on a romantical drama that needlessly elongates the movie (2.5h long) And don't get me started on the way WW runs in this movie ! Its such a CGI mess... The end of the movie is absurd and rather comical as the main villain realises the errors of his ways and just gets a slap on the wrist for nearly destroying the world !
