I'm not a nurse and don't even know any personally, but I was offended for nurses and patients everywhere after the first four minutes. Immediately the show perpetuates the BS that nurses do not matter as much as other health care professionals. Seems patriarchal and very Civil War era... Nurse jobs are seen as a woman's job in America, and nurses of all genders are looked down upon as a direct result even though nurses are very important, well paid, and very respectable. A laboring woman was also described as a bellowing Gorilla, or "ape woman. The writers and producers of this show must really hate women and the serving professions dominated by women.
