This movie is like the creepy quiet kid in your class. The kid never talks, but you know he/she is there but just don’t have any bond with him or her because he or she doesn’t talk. Like the creepy quiet kid, this movie fails to bond you with the characters. The lack of dialogue is idiotic and unnecessary. There are points in the movie where the couple are texting each other when they are feet apart and the only reason is to avoid spoken dialogue. Less than halfway through the movie, it becomes so predictable that you can just leave the theater.

This is probably one of the greatest TV shows of all time. I gave it four stars instead of five because of issues with racism. Before I mention all the great things about this TV show, I’ll get the negative things out of the way first. This show has a very large and very diverse cast, however, in the last few seasons, white characters are given significantly more screen time than non-white characters. It becomes very noticeable. In the first few seasons, white characters and non-white characters are both given lots of screen time. As the series progresses, non-white characters get less and less screen time. Non-white characters are also typically much less likable than white characters. For this reason, I am taking away one star. Now the great things about this show, it is one of the most addictive shows, if not the most addictive show I have ever seen. This show has everything from crime, drama, science fiction, mystery, action. I don’t know how else to describe the show without giving spoilers. The story telling style is one of the best I have ever seen. There is a lot of mystery and you will keep trying to guess what is going on with the few clues that are given in each episode. A plane has crashed on a mysterious island and nobody knows where, and rescuers cannot find the plane (it has vanished and nobody in the world knows where the plane ended up), and the island is full of a lot of strange things. Each survivor also has a complicated past and other survivors often do not know who they are stranded on the island with, which adds another layer of fun and excitement to the show.

I watched the R rated version of this film. There is an NC-17 version. There are two scenes that are edited in the R version. If you like crime dramas, then you will most likely love this film. I took away a star because I didn’t like where the film ended. I felt that the movie should have continued for another minute so that the audience could fully appreciate the conclusion of the film. I understood most of what happened at the end, except one major detail.

I really don’t see why people like this show. It really wasn’t that great. The characters are boring with ridiculous personalities. The relationship issues get tired and boring. 10 years and the same exact relationship issue with the same exact people. Also, Ross is a super annoying character and not funny at all. The other five characters were okay. The show also lacks diversity and represents a super white version of New York City, a white version that never existed.
