Great movie!!
I loved every aspect of it
Starting with the zero sense of pride in the Peshwas to the extremely well edited CGI tiger.
The slow pace and pathetic dialogue delivery is just too much to take into.. with impactful scenes cut short and scenes with so much potential are just bland because the lack of dialogue u should rather wait till it comes up on amazon prime and rush through the movie.
Kangana being one of the most notable actresses in the industry has failed to deliver and playing a major part in this movie (director, co-producer, lead role) she should probably just stick to what she's best at.
*Spoiler alert*
The movie starts of with 0 character development of the protagonist following the pathetic plot placement and rushing through sequences.
Manikarnika being the daughter to a peshwa never gave the audience satisfaction that this was the case instead her playful nature and untimely mood swings (cribbing when she was to be sent off to Jhansi) rather made the audience feel she was born and brought up in a small household and never taught the etiquetes of being the daughter to a high born family.
Also scenes where she quite easily changes everyones mind with two lines of meaningless and obvious dialogues leaves the audience like "WHAT"?!
Enough about Kangana and her pathetic delivery lets move on to the king and his pathetic delivery.
The KING OF JHANSI apparently doesn't mind, her going to be 'ardhaangini' , make playful jokes at their wedding nor does he mind walking faster for her in a wedding ritual (7 ferre) just for her amusement 👏👏
Coming over to the fluency and lack of translators in the English army, they did speak hindi pretty well also when they weren't around Indians but never mind that, some moves are just to please the audience but how the hell is KANAGANA RANAUT SO DAMN FLUENT IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE that dialogue was so well written that I swear it should've been a part of a hollywood sequence.
I shouldn't go on ruining the movie for everyone because most of you would either start criticizing the movie or just leave after the first half
Everything wasn't so bad though, the sets were BEAUTIFUL and the soundtrack was just amazing however there are still parts where it could left the audience mesmerized and startled
