Mortal definitely strays from the typical hero narrative because it's not a superhero film. You won't find state-of-the-art graphics often seen on Marvel and DC films but you'll get a palpable story line instead. It is abundant with the seriousness that the Marvel franchise lacks. This was exceptionally written no matter what others say. It's definitely worth watching and the ending just leaves you wanting more.
