As has been the case since 2013’s No More Hell to Pay, When We Were Kings brings a lot of powerful rock music and some searing guitar solos. Is it a bit repetitive? Maybe. Is it worth a purchase? If you’re a Stryper fan or a fan of good, solid heavy rock music, the answer is yes.
