I think Films like this matters given the cycle of dictatorship and autocracy is once again on the rise. I choose To separate the art from the artist since the director has been recently known for some severe disagreeableness. The film highlights America’s near miss to near nazism far more succinctly then the likes peaky blinders ever could, respectively to Britain, in an age where we have a rise in antisemitism and people “just wanting the trains to run on time” this film truly highlights the real needs of people and highlighting a path once taken.
