A decent read about a life less ordinary, but according to his account he was in a field Bomb Disposal unit based at Hereford, not the SAS. If he was in the SAS but keeping the details secret, which I would certainly respect, then the front cover of the book and advertising blurbs shouldn't be shouting about it! If the book is about an 'SAS hero' and sold to me as such, I do expect to be able to read a little about that. Otherwise it should have been subtitled 'From Falklands war veteran to professional footballer', which would have been quite fascinating enough in its own right.
