It perpetuates stereotypes and poorly touches on heavy subjects, anything slightly dark about it is followed by something silly and trivial, it’s not realistic at all, it’s cliche and it represents teenagers poorly, most characters are spoilt and selfish and just not endearing at all, can we get a show with better representation,? All the black girls on the show are put in a box, also ginnys whole self loathing story arc is so poorly portrayed and she’s supposed to be a feminist yet her actions say otherwise? She’s judgemental towards other girls and she allows a boy to mistreat her????? Also why can’t they’re be more virgin teenagers like not everyone is having sex, why are shoes to hyper focused on that? Little questionable...
