This movie discusses important topics for: children- to young adults, topics include: Racism, alcohol, rehab, biracial, adopt, disabilty, divorce, doing your dreams, and even were some sex scenes it wasn't a whole lot at least 2 or 3 and you can skip it if you and your young child were watching it and you don't approve, etc. I don't see why people think this is a bad movie. It's cute! and woke. The old one is an original and fits that time period but it
is a new generation 2022 and the old one was just white families. Which is great, but don't you think there should be movies that are inclusive and have families with any gender, or race? There were some morals of the story. Moral means life lessons. Sex is life and racism is still here today, which is a good life lesson to kids. And bullying when one of the characters Haresh Baker was being bullied Seth Baker tried to help him. Even if it wasn't the right way. He had good intentions. It also teaches kids that family is supportive and has your back. So, I can't make anyone watch it but I reccomend it! Kids can probably relate to this one way more than the original. (Just opinions and my rating.)
