I normally never give film reviews but here is a literally HONEST review of the movie. I first watched this movie when it came out, I remember it was February 2009 and I was in 9th class. Being a kid at that time who liked action movies on Salman khan (duh) I had no taste in true cinema thus at that time, the movie felt like a disaster to me and I was happy that the so called "critics" bashed the movie! But let's fast forward to 14 years! Now it's 2023 and I watched this movie again and DAMN BRO! THIS MOVIE IS LITERALLY THE MOST UNDERRATED GEM OF INDIAN CINEMA! Actually this movie was one of the earliest who challenged THE RELIGIOUS BELIEFS of the extremist HINDUVTA BHAKHTS (The fans of BJP and Bal Thackeray) so it was inevitable that the critics were going to be pressurised to give bad reviews. However, this movie is one of the finest of Abhishek and Rakeysh Mehra is one heck of a filmmaker. Loved his products especially Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Delhi 6. People have taken Abhishek for granted as his performance in the movie was stellar! Hats off to the other supporting cast too who did their best including Vijay Raaz, Sonam, Rishi Kapoor and Om Puri the great! 5/5 from me!
