while it is suppose to be iconic. this movie was just not impactful. before seeing this movie i heard great things. “It’s a good comedy” “some parts made me cry” “this movie is so iconic.” all of which i disagree. the movie started off iconic because it is everything you remember from playing with the dolls from your childhood however, it ends up more cringey in a way. This movie feels like it is made for kids but had a lot of adult content that kids just don’t understand. The movie was overall corny. They should have made this movie more geared towards adults and taken us through the issues of being a women in a man’s world. instead it was a fight between kens and barbie’s and they only really stay in barbie land.
