I love this book. It's perfect for elementary aged students and has a Spanish translation, so it's great for bilingual programs. The themes include immigrant deportation, spirit animals, Nahuatl language, poverty, selective mutism and peer pressure among others. It captures kids' attention from the first page and will have them asking questions.
