One star for Lucy Lu and one star for Diane Ladd. The rest of the cast (love Jeff Daniels but his southern accent was absurd) get 0 stars. There were several cringe worthy scenes where I actually grimaced. The biggest flaw to the entire series was the black guy who got arrested for resisting arrest in Atlanta. WHY? What did that have to do with the series? It brought NOTHING to the show. The only connection was that he was Jeff Daniel's character's secretary's husband. Yep, that's it. And 1/4 of the entire series is spent on that. I understand he was angry and rightfully so, but you knocked out a police officer....how would you NOT be arrested. It was strictly for modern-day media drama. I'd say pass on this one. It is basically one of Jeff Daniel's worse pieces of work. He must be getting desperate for money!!!!

My sister-in-law suggested I give Resident Alien a try after watching the first season and loving it. Reluctantly, I thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm so glad I did, it is hilarious!!!! Each character brings their own vision to the role and the storyline is easy to follow and a tad mysterious. I love it! And I recommend it for an easy weekend binge watch. Great writing! Great acting! Great story!

Nice date night movie. Not too deep, simple surface with outstanding acting. The absolute best part of the movie is the scenery, worth it just to see the lovely marsh portrayed in the film.
