Once again Disney hits the jackpot at concept and misses deliveries. A flat plot with no respect to the source material, and worst of all extremely boring. The problem with a current adaptation is that they are trying too hard to be everything and to address every progressive idea, as they might call it, at the same time, so let's put race, feminism, gender ...blah blah so we look inclusive enough and progressive enough but in reality, you are creating a mess. Movies with no backbones, actually just no plot or relatable characters. Maybe if movie makers stopped usurping history in the name of correction and started making fresh movies with fresh ideas, and please real human beings who are not offended by every movement or word, maybe then movies will be watchable again.
