This Album changed my life. I was in 6th grade and a friend gave me the album cus they said “you like aliens right” indeed i did. Never did I expect such a musical masterpiece to transcend me into a safe place. I used to play it on repeat everyday to and from school. Then I started collecting everything Manson related; all albums, interviews, magazine covers. I deeply love Manson and his Art/Music. Without him I honestly would be dead. At that time I had ideas of suicide because I felt out of place in this world. And I was popular! Yet I still felt different than everyone. Not better or worse just different. So at that age it’s hard to decipher life. So I just wanted to disappear. Manson wrote and sang everything I felt! So I knew I wasn’t alone. And he did it so masterful and beautiful, visually it was a feast too! I love the drama and play on politics and American culture/ pop culture. Isn’t it funny a complete stranger just singing and writing music could save not only my life, but thousands I’m sure, with this invisible connection he created by just putting his thoughts on paper and singing. ❤️‍🔥💪🏼 that’s powerful
