Beyond the Tracks was such an interesting read. When you think about what was going on during this time of the persecution of the Jews, yet you read of them still trying to pursue their lives, it is quite amazing. The conversations were excellent. You could read between the lines, you could feel the anxiety as they stood at attention while guards walked around them. I particularly enjoyed when two young men who were able to get their hands-on SS uniforms, were able to walk right into Auswichtz.
