Too many samples from a not too distant hip hop era smacks of lazy and uninspiring production.
Samples from Mob Deep, two from Jay Z, Bone Thugs, DJ Clue and even Janet Jackson is just too much on one album.
His 10 minute diss to Eminem is a shameless desperation to remain relevant.
Some tracks stand out, but overall this is a disorganized album with no strong musical direction.
