One hopes that film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar depict is the extensive research that went into Savarkar's authoritative work on 1857 whose value is much more than just a text describing the clichéd Hindu-Muslim unity. The film shows Savarkar utter a unique, 'secular' definition: "anyone who loves Hind is Hindu." However, Savarkar's actual definition states that Hindus are those who consider India both their motherland and sacred land. There is a difference between the two. Capturing all aspects of Savarkar in a single film or narrative is challenging. Portraying a figure like Savarkar in a non-hagiographic manner is nearly impossible, since his life indeed scintillated with glory.

Sanjay Dutt playing SPG Head sending 100 Commandos (instead of 25) to fight and no one is successful against SRK 9. Chemicals factories to close down so that no incident like Bhopal gas tregdy is repeated 10. Farmers should commit suicide hence direct money transfer to accounts Uff, people have to much of money to make movies and make so much money. Giving one star for visuals , VFX

OMG2 is an educational and entertaining movie. It has a new story and movie is standalone than its first installment OMG released in 2012. OMG2 revolves around taboo subject of sex education and situation faced by Pankaj Tripathi (devotee of lord Shiva) and his family. Pankaj’s son is caught is a sexual act and as happens in the age of social media, video goes viral and matters reaches the courtroom. Pankaj Tripathi’s is helped by messenger of lord Shiva, played by Akshay Kumar to help navigate him through tough time in life and strengthening his belief. It’s a much watch movie for parents to bridge the gap with children and obviously Akshay Kumar's fan who were waiting for his comeback with a super hit.

‘The Kerala Story’ movie narrates the hard-hitting story of three young girls from various regions of Kerala, with the primary focus on the story of Shalini played by Ada Sharma, who is trapped and subsequently converted to Islam while the other 2 also meet their fate. Shalini is then radicalized and compelled to join ISIS as a terrorist. It’s also the story of torture women have to undergo at such extremist terrorist camps. The movie starts with the interrogation of Shalini /Fatima, where she is alleged to be a terrorist and she goes into flashbacks to tell interrogation officers as to ‘why’ and ‘how’ she is trapped in to terrorist organization. The movie revolves around conversions, cheating on pretext of marriage, brainwashing of young girls for ulterior motives in the name of religion. The movie has dialogs supporting its storyline and logic. Nothing in this movie is unrealistic, and if few girls are saved because of this movie, the purpose of the movie will be achieved. All the incidents shown in this movie are relatable, and one keeps hearing or reading such stories. The movie takes reference from speeches of Ex CM of the Kerala state, and, at the end of the movie, actual interview clips are shown to cement authenticity of the narrative. The numbers are referred to as the conversion cases that happened in the last decade in Kerala, and Indian law and authorities are shown helpless in the absence of evidence. The visuals can be disturbing for faint-hearted viewers, and the movie will shake people, can even humiliate a few on their beliefs. It’s a must watch as one shouldn’t be adapting ‘Ostrich Policy’ and just close the eyes to the danger around. Indian citizens must be alert about these proxy wars. Kudos to the filmmaker and the entire cast and crew for this masterpiece.

Watched #Selfiee today, and it's good that i haven’t watched the original Malayalam successful movie 'Driving License'. My enjoyment was double for this reason. Selfiee revolves around superstar Vijay Kumar (Akshay Kumar) and one of his most ardent fans, Om Prakash Aggarwal (Emraan Hashmi). A film shoot brings Vijay to Bhopal and then to the RTO, as he needs a new driving license for the climax shot for his movie. Situations turn ugly as a publicity hungry local politician close to Superstar Vijay tries to take advantage of the situation. In the era of social media, misunderstanding between an RTO Inspector and superstar goes out of proportion. Vijay and Om are supported by spouses played by Diana and Nusrat. Om's son is also a big fan of Superstar but considers his father as a real-life hero. While the intent of superstar and RTO Inspector are shown pure for each other, circumstances create a rift between them and media/news channels, making it appear wide open. Nationwide debates on TV shows, favoring and opposing superstar, and RTO Inspector keep on adding fuel to fire. Paid social media trends #Boycott #Bollywood starts trending to worsen the situation. Until the end, both of them are trying to win over each other, but then real culprits surface and accept mistakes. Superstar Vijay (Akshay Kumar) is shown in full swag and RTO Inspector Om as common man acted by Emraan Hashmi are relatable. Movie has a story to believe, emotions, jokes cracked spontaneously to bring fun, tussel between two leading actors though they don't have inferior motives. Even if you are not a fan of any of the actors of this movie, you will like the movie, which ends with the return of classic dance number Main Khiladi Tu Anaari.

Pathaan is a movie of the YRF spy universe and banner in its 50th year. Before watching it I check a couple of reviews on YouTube and then watched it to realize that it is an over-hyped movie while it has various reasons to become an all-time blockbuster. Its 2.26 hours movie has been released worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It’s a comeback movie of SRK as his previous flops were released 4-5 years ago and money is pumped into the VFX effect of this one. Yash Raj Films were maki ng spy thrillers like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda hai’, and War and there is mention of Tiger and Kabir in the film. To enhance the appeal of the film, Salman Khan does a cameo and the dialogue makes it obvious that SRK will do the cameo in the next instalment of Tiger movie of Salman Khan. The movie is claimed to be fast-paced and gripping but its predictable storyline and an ISI agent played by Deepika Padukone double crossing India’s agent looks obvious. Pathaan has lots of cinematic appeals, style and exotic locations to show. Action sequences are unreal and look supernatural, and actors are equipped with superpowers to perform daredevil stunts. John Abraham plays the negative role of ‘Jim’ an Indian soldier who has gone rough against the country, Mother India as he had to sacrifice his family and unborn child in the past and take revenge with India and Pakistan is supporting him. John’s entry scene is much better than SRK and he looks solid performer. All such actions are shown against the backdrop of the removal of article 370 in India. John looks absolutely dashing, and smart and gives a tough time to Pathaan played by SRK. The movie is shot with IMAX Cameras for the first time and has a whooping budget of INR 250 CR and directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra, and Alexander Dostal and has two songs including the controversial ‘Besharam Rang’ composed by Music director Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani, Sanchit Balhara, Vishal–Shekhar. Don't go with great expectations else you'll be disappointed with Pathaan. Just watch it and allow yourself to be entertained and you will be.

In one word movie is 'Excellent' and presents to audiences a multilayered, multidimensional story with lots of illusions, it is same like situations or stories of historical/mythological characters of Vikram and Betaal. Movie depicts chase and hunt of a police man Vikram (played by Saif Ali Khan) to get hold of Vedha a shrude criminal (played by Hritik Roshan). Radhika Apte played role of a lawyer and wife of Saif Ali Khan who is trying to save his client Vedha and is in a conflict situation with his husband. Story is fast paced and if you miss a scene, you will miss the linkages of story set in Lucknow and Kanpur There are scenes where audiences blow whistles and movie makes many critics silent on the ground of performance, trill and storyline. We all look at life and situations in black and white but this movie makes you look at greys and leave you with a Betal Prashan (Betal's question) to puzzle your mind. Song Alcoholia is entertaining and with new dance moves of Hritik Roshan Talking about original film which I am yet to watch, heard many a good things engaging, of Tamil entertainer a gripping thriller of simple straight forward story of police and gangster cat and mouse or hide seek game. The Husband Wife duo Pushker and Gauatri created wow factor in original movie as well with fantastic screenplay and taking out best performances from Madhavan as Vikram in policy and Vijay Sethupathy on the other hand as Vedha. Watching this movie on day 1 of release have been a delight and highly recommended to audience to check out solid action packed masterpiece.

It’s a story of human relationships specially couples in marriage and about to get married soon. Married couples go through ups and downs like Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh playing role of parents of son (played by Varun Dhawan) and about to get married daughter Ginni. Daughter in law Kiara and Varun are going through rough phase in their married life after 5 years of marriage at Canada as Wife is more successful as HR professional making a living while Varun is a bouncer at bar. They have thoughts to end their marriage but Varun’s sister Ginni is about to get married and hence they need to pretend as happy couple. On top of it pressure is on Kiara Advani and Varun to plan a family. Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh are married for 35 years and Anil has an extramarital affair. He thinks of taking divorce too after Ginni’s marriage. Ginni is in love with Gaurav a struggling singer and hence to settle down in life choose to get married to a groom of his parent’s choice. Jug Jugg Jeeyo is story of dysfunctional relationships and couples pretending to be happy in front of society while they all know the realities of their relationship. Movie has twist and turns with punch of funny moments including some jokes from WhatsApp. Manish Paul who plays role of Kiara’s brother and childhood friend of Varun Dhawan brings in comic relief with unusual ideas and make the film much lighter. Songs are well in place and takes forward story as an integral part of storyline. At the same time, none of the song is memorable or lasting one for memory. Movie is a story of multiple human confessions too. Serious situations have dose of Humour but dialogs have message for families. Married life is a complex relationship and demands maintaining relationship with respect, keeping aside egos specially male egos and coming out of ‘Men will be Men’ mentality as life demands living as per the age. It’s about understanding and acknowledging sacrifices of spouses too. Movie has candid chat scene between mother in law (played by Neetu Singh) and daughter in law (played by Kiara Advani) giving messages to audiences like we mistakenly think of care as love over the years. At the same time, son Varun doesn’t understand or accept that his mother is also not happy in her marriage with Anil Kapoor. Movie ends with a family court scene where Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh are given last 6 months before divorce decision by court. In the same court, Varun realizes his fault and apologies to Kiara to stay in the marriage. Little sister Ginni discloses that she is in love with a struggling singer and calls off arranged marriage. It’s more than a one time watch and specially for couples and families to have better understanding of truth beneath relationships.
