I don’t get all of the negative reviews about this film. I really enjoyed it. The acting was top-notch! I’m a huge Brandy fan so seeing her on the big screen really made my day! The pairing of her and Kathryn Hunter was really something worth seeing. The intrusiveness of family, death and just living life gave this movie the thrill that was needed. The horror was that this could really be any of us dealing with ailing in-laws. If you have ever had to deal with an unfiltered elderly person then you’d definitely understand the outrageous behavior of Solange! I really liked the way this movie was filmed, the cinematography and production is top-notch. I do wish they went deeper in the couple losing their child and what each of them did professionally.
