It seems like this show can't decide whether it wants to condemn Anna as a grifter or celebrate her as an uber-capitalist hero. Anna, as she's presented here, isn't some alluring mystery. She's just a straightforward con artist. But the show seems to think she's mythic. It never explains why anyone defends or cheers Anna. Maybe I'm missing something; I'm autistic and I misunderstand a lot things about people quite often. If I'm not missing anything, then the show has been unclear when it should have been clear.
