I truly don't get it. This movie was slow, depressing, uneventful, and incredibly boring. It had good cinematography and Frances Mcdormand is a good actress, but both my wife and I fell asleep during the movie. I had to finish it later. Overall, a real disappointment.

I watched 2 episodes and couldn't get past that point. It was just really fake and over-acted. I didn't really get the hype. Downton Abbey was much better. Maybe it is unfair to compare Bridgerton to Downton Abbey, but we had just finished D.A. a couple months ago. I really wanted to love it, but didn't, oh well.
