With little knowledge of Japanese history, I was intrigued with the thousand year old ‘plot’. The imperial monarchy has two groups of warriors guarding it. The Heike warriors plot to not let the Genji warriors take precedence over their support of the monarchy. Beheadings of men are routine. The women have one role, to bear numerous sons.
