They shoehorn in new characters and try desperately to make us like them. There's almost 12 hours of mandatory play time with a character you never really care about and who is the overall antagonist of the poorly written story. The main character from the original dies within the first 2 hours of the game. This makes you want to put it down and turn off the ps4. I don't mind them killing Joel, it could have been done in a much better way later in the game. The game play is ok but this game is supposed to be story driven, so if the story is no good it means the game is no good.
