Malevolent in a nutshell: a brother and sister who’s mom died try to fake being ghost hunters but the sister finds she has powers. They go on a call to a house of a serial killer and the serial killers mom lives there. The girl sees ghosts of children that died there and so does the brother. One of the members of the team goes missing and is found with their mouth sewn up. They get in the car and try to leave but the brother hits the caretaker and they crash. The person who’s mouth was sewn dies. We see the serial killer is alive and kidnapped the brother and knocked out the cameraman. The cameraman tells the sister the serial killer is back, and we see the serial killer and the killers mom sewing the brothers mouth. She was a bad guy all along. The sister comes to save him but she too gets tied up. The brother is taken to a shed and killed and the cameraman is back. He takes a knife and stabs the serial killer in the throat. He dies, and then the mother is furious and stabs the cameraman a bunch of times. The ghosts scream and the mother drops the knife. The sister gets up and kills the mother. The survivors are The Cameraman and The Sister
