I loved book. This film however, has no depth and detail. It felt rushed and lacked a genuine connection between the characters. They could have prolonged the movie and added the important details which, would have deepened and strengthened the love story and appeal of the characters. They followed the storyline fairly well and hit most major points. However, if I had never read the book, this movie and the main characters relationship would not make much sense to me.
