Publisher is still working to fix up the balancing issues and the bugs. I would recommend to them to focus on balancing the victim side as they seem to want to make this game too easy for killers.
Matchmaking is a joke where individuals with high levels team with low-level friends and they get matched against the lower levels.
Matches often result in a a level 75 killer with a level 37 and 38 teammates against sub-30 level victims. That makes the matchups not very reasonable.
Currently a "wait" simulator as even the lack of a single killer will create a situation where the game will not be allowed to start. As the game only allows a single character for each player (no duplicates), many players will quit if their favorite is taken. Recommend to the game designers to have someone cue up for their character, and then match them to a match (with estimated wait times).
All killers are allowed to "rush" the basement and eliminate all the victims immediately.
They need to get rid of the Grandpa cut-scene as it distracts from the flow and eliminate all notifications of "x left the basement" and "x left the house" as that drives all the killers to the inescapable basement exits for easy eliminations. Additionally, there is no "killer X is in the basement" for the survivors.
