"Evil dies tonight!" Oh boy. First, was this a comedy, a social satire, a slasher movie? I have no idea what it wanted to be. It wasn't suspenseful, it wasn't scary, and I feel like Quentin Tarantino was consulted for the HILARIOUS murders of all the firefighters.
The movie blames YOU, the viewer, for keeping Michael alive with your blood lust. YOU are the mob. You're being mocked with every "evil dies tonight" chant.
I was looking forward to this movie but I'm glad I didn't waste money on it. Jamie Lee isn't in the movie much, her friends and family are all stupid, as if they forgot who Michael really is, and Michael, well, after being nearly beaten to death by YOU, the mob, magically teleports back to his bedroom to kill JLC's daughter (I'm assuming this part may become a "dream" much like Dallas and "who shot JR?" when ENDS comes out.
The second star is because the beginning flashbacks were good. That's it.
