Part sci-fi political thriller, part sci-fi action adventure– all a great read!
The Enlightened at times reminded me of the political intrigue of Frank Herbert’s Dune, and other times the action adventure and hard sci-fi reminded me of Andy Weir’s Artemis. Because of the strong backstory and character development, together with Ehlers’ ability to bring the pages to life, it at times felt as if I was watching a movie rather than reading a book – it sucked me in and took me along for the ride. I cannot wait to read his next book—nor to see The Enlightened on the Big Screen.
