This was a different movie than the first. I won’t compare the two because the main character which was played by the late Chadwick Boseman is no longer in the franchise. I enjoyed the visuals, music and fight scenes. This movie was a bit heavy because of the passing of Chadwick but they pulled it off with class. The introduction of Namor was perfect. The visuals and cultural references were done with taste and respect. As for the story, it has ventured away from the comics now knowing that T’Challa won’t be recasted. Prepare yourself as it’s long because they are intertwining a new character while mourning the loss of a old character but also the loss of a real person who was a friend and colleague. 5 stars because of the challenges to pull this off and I think they did a great job.
