can't understand these amazing ratings. massive fan of period drama but eventually, the first three episodes can be summarised with 'where's lord M. ?he should be here by now" 🤦 While the young Queen Victoria loved Lord Melbourne, it was not a romantic relationship. He was 60 years older than she was and not in the best of health. The choppy scenes, way the Italian chef goes after Mrs skerrett and the fake way she 'plays' the piano in the end if episode 3 😭🤦

oh dear . not sure even my 12yo wld sit thru that. don't make movies just to tick boxes🤦 boring, predictable and shallow. I spend an hour trying to find depth in the story (premises are good, the looks obsessed youth realising that's more there that matters) but eventually gave up and turned off half way through as it was just a waste of time.

love ann hathaway and de Niro too, and the idea of a 70yo intern in a modern company is FAB! but the movie is absolutely terrible. A patronising know it all 70 telling youngsters how to dress, feeling like a saviour to the bunch of idiot employees ; A lovely, successful CEO whose abilities are suddenly questioned; and boy , doesn't she mess up literally tells to have the omnipresent intern moved, then becomes his first Facebook friend while they have to 'work late' (doing what, eating pizza and joining fb?), then some random other old intern gets to drive the ceo but can't drive so licenceless ceo ends up behind the wheel. honestly , don't bother unless ur really desperate 🤣🤦 ps. I didn't realise it can get any worse but the lovely ann hathaway has just been sick in a bin 😭😭

🙈bashing of meat eaters, quite graphic at times as well. not what I expected
