The film 2001: A Space Odyssey is prophetic in that it echoes both the present and the future, and it was made in 1968. It reminded me of a dream I had earlier this evening in which a computer doing a quality control function in a factory shows favoritism--with negative consequences naturally resulting. Again, like in the film, the computer had been designed to function so closely to how a human would act that it apparently took on emotion. Ironically, a friend recommended sleeping near a moldavite stone (a type of crystal formed from a meteorite) to enhance dreams and it does seem to work--especially the rough tumble version.
