It really was a joy reading this book and could not put it down! It was captivating and I loved the period. I must confess that I’m 63 years old but I loved really enjoyed this book. It is as if I could hear Ms. Andrews beautiful crystal clear voice telling the story. It’s a must read for children and certainly for adults. Keep on going Ms. Andrews together with your daughter Emma. From a small Dutch island in the Caribbean named Curaçao, I must say that I have seen your movies here too. Especially The Sound of Music and One Special Night, That’s Life, Victor Victoria, The Americanization of Emily and The Princess Diaries were, for me, unforgettable 🤩 movies!!!
