It's one of those movies that could have been perfect as a standalone movie. It managed to pull off a great sequel that respected it's original material and continued the story is a way that makes sense.
Ginger became a protective mother who still had scars of the trauma she endorsed, and her new daughter Molly feels trapped and doesn't feel as free as the other chickens.
I also like how Mrs. Tweety returned with a new husband. It is great having her return as the main antagonist, and it makes sense for her to divorce Mr. Tweety given the end of the first movie.
Overall, it is a well thoughout movie and they pulled off a great sequel. The animation also hasn't changed a bit, but I can't complain. The claymation models are ageless.
