Seems like (to my ears, which heard a lot of music) there was a quantity of magic and/or new instruments not used before that LP.

I have after nearly 45 years deduced that the author could have had insomnia; just rising in the dark towers of the night for a snack and getting amused by a small animal scurrying across a type of floor aged by mist and salt, etc. Really unforgettable but not sure I would read it again.

I waded through it reluctantly because it gave to me a feeling that there was an erratic arrangement of plots and sub-plots; some were connected via previous chapters and others just seem to float in and "be" like something resembling on the surface of something like those very old canals which were somewhat duplicated near the area of Los Angeles Calif. Thinking it over again it's hard to remember a single line or paragraph.

Have not actually read more than one or two paragraphs but somewhere in the great quantity of pages published I read that some people were pickier than others as to which types of fences they were prone to 'hop' over. If they were teens they could have a stash of alcoholic drinks waiting for them. The repetition of those types of activities could have caught attention from the police who may have had encounters with parents whose children had come home very drunk...not good publicity for an enclave like that Even Sharon Tate could go undetected in that area, according to Vincent Bugliosi.

There were a lot of descriptions of characters such as THE YOUNG FAWN which the Mummy and his female companion left in a sort of heap which stirred the imagination with the bizarre blood drips included and her description of the Mummy's renewed interest in seeing every living thing in exquisite details was quite fascinating to hear about someone so excited by just being alive. Don't remember the plot very much; still, it was hard to put down, like some of Mary Higgins Clark's books.

Some parts like the famous female star in a love scene in a southern mansion boudoir were funny, just imagining the "stately" setting. However, on 2nd thought, the 4 poster, presumably hardwood, could recall other chapters which may have taken place in a morgue. No telling about the train of creative thoughts of some authors from THEIR era!

Couldn't really say.... interesting customs of sacrificing HOMOES for others to worship such as the book A DEATH FOR ADONIS. I have yet to see the movie, if there is one, to determine if it includes a marble statue and if they have improved finish coats on it to combat the effects of environmental pollution. Also names such as Cleothera----Phyrne-----Ariston. Another one of those pre-streetlight quiet nights. Another one

It was fast reading (almost like a wolf on a stray lamb) with some very clever passages. Been close to 50 years now and don't remember what was disappointing: too short or a radical departure from actual facts, such as making the 'LBJ' part as someone resembling an incompetent newcomer, almost like a naive prude.

With all due respect I am trying to discover which acting coach Miss Liz Taylor employed, or had employed for her before the filming of CLEOPATRA. My other projects are on hold until I have available time.

It could have been better with more details regarding the Goler Wash "adventures" of those killers and associates and more details about their incarceration in Independence, CA. I think the facts which the author embellished with some quizzical words have been validated over the years, that being the important idea to write about the events.
