There truly is an amazing game in both Scarlet and Violet, however, it is bogged down from truly showing due to the amount of framerate issues and massive plethora of other technical issues the games have. If game freak can actually patch these games to make them an actual good functioning game, in my eyes, these are the best games since Diamond/Pearl. I'm not sure how Gamefreak was able to go ahead and put it out in this state, although I'm sure it was Nintendo and its shareholders that were persistent on releasing a new pokemon game to meet quarterly expectations, and figured they can fix it later. This is a part of a bigger issue at Nintendo, but especially the pokemon company. They are working on so many pokemon games nowadays at the same time, it seems they cant focus on just 1 game, but have to focus on all pokemon games out there at once, causing the quality of all games to drop in the process. Sorry for the long winded review. But long story short: the games truly are great fun and a step in the right direction for the entire franchise, with amazing ideas. However, in it's current state, I cannot reccomend you go out and spend your hard earned money on it right now.
