Ad astra is a full on space tour de bore after the opening adrenaline rush you can sit back an relax knowing nothing else exciting is going to happen i had high hopes for the film but was left disappointed in the extreme, set in the near future but just far enough away to have a moon airport and deep space moon base along side a sub terrainium Mars base but the spacesuit is a 60's style throwback alongside the spacecraft with single use booster rockets just doesn't hold credibility the plot has more holes than Swiss cheese, in the end I really didn't care about any of the characters & just when I thought it couldn't get any worse Brad's character flies through the asteroid belt of neptune with just a flimsy bit of metal to protect him & gets through unscathed just wouldn't happen the script pushed the limits of credulity but this tipped it in to another world of disbelief, this is a film to miss utterly rubbish on all levels
