It’s really disappointing. The new version doesn’t do anything groundbreaking new, the storylines are weak and predictable. The acting’s nothing special. Actually quite cringeworthy in places. The actor playing Don has nicked Tom Hardy’s “Ronnie Kray” accent. Tut, tut…lazy! you think we wouldn’t notice? Or maybe worse, he was told to sound like that?? 🤦‍♂️ What a shame and missed opportunity to really take this amazing classic to the next level!
