Disappointing.
Cats the musical is a passionate group of cats...the movie removes the passion.
Stripping song for acting, and adjusting character traits away from the original presentation leaves several cats at odds with the musical. Gone are the characters I loved, replaced by pale imitations.
Gone completely is the Great Rumpus Cat.
