The biggest mistake the shows creators made was to bring in game of thrones writers/producers as advisers before they started. Wheel of.Time is not a dark story. Its a story of hope and light. What makes these characters great in the books is that they are humans striving to improve. Not dark gloomy people with no humor or hope. Besides nearly all fans agree, the game of thrones was great until they ran out of source material and had to start writting themselves. Then the show fell.off a cliff. Why would you ask them for advice. SANDERSON IS ALIVE, ask him to write or rewrite for you. Hollywood just doesnt have the writing talent to pull this off.
