So many contrived near misses with the worn out trope that the good guys win *just* as all hope is about to be lost.
How they only made 7 episodes (of differing lengths) but somehow could not imagine up enough material they had to: bring in the mandorlorian, luke skywalker, baby yoda et al is so short sighted.
Not to mention the purposely difficult situations the heroes find themselves in.
In the last episode (spoilers):
Why did they not simply use Slave 1 (sorry, the more modern and PC Boba Fetts starship) and the mandorlorians star ship to destroy the droidekas? Is it not an obvious self made issue to give us 40mins of fighting in which the enemy, yet again, cannot aim?
Can a good storyteller please take over some of these Disney Star Wars ruinations and give us something good?
