I quickly got really into this show. The premise is Really interesting and the story initially made sense. Unfortunately it deteriorated pretty rapidly. It quickly “evolves” from Sci-Fi to teen drama. The character of Clarke starts to grate very quickly, well before she has completely morphed into a budget bi-sexual Daenerys Targaryen we have to endure her being intertwined into every single story arc. The show seems to want to outdo Game of Thrones in terms of character deaths, the story becomes as nonsensical and erratic as Lost, and the desperate attempts to provide Pesky Blinderesque twists and shocks Fails miserably. A big missed opportunity, I’d say give it a go and see how long before you’ve just completely had enough. A real lack of depth and detail, some dreadful acting and underdeveloped and inconsistent characters, and poor writing and story development. Shame.
