This show takes the story in a different direction, and I love that. As for so many bad reviews this show has received I feel as though they watched half of the 1st episode then stopped watching and wrote a review. The normal story being focused on the zombies and what not are fine but the setup from this season can showcase the crazy possibilities the show can take. I understand as it seems many others don't realize is the 1st season is mainly character building before the "real stuff" can explode. Look at shows like the walking dead, season 1 was garbage, breaking bad was SUPER SLOW, the list goes on for GREAT shows that start slow then explode with amazing storytelling. I for one hope we get a 2nd season.
